San Beda nails third straight NCAA football title

MANILA, Philippines?San Beda recaptured the NCAA season 88 men?s football title, blanking Arellano, 2-0, Thursday in the ASCOM field in Taguig City.

Miguel Caindec doubled the Red Booters? lead and put the outcome away from doubt in the 85th minute en route to their third straight title.

Neil Dorimon opened the scoring in the 45th minute for San Beda, which even fell to the tough Chiefs in the round of four.

It was the Red Booters? 20th overall football title in the league.
