There are many types of high school one can consider online, one of them is the charter school. The charter school may be not that large in number compared with regular schools but with the growth of the internet is the growth of online charter schools. The second is Department of Education-sponsored or school-district-sponsored school. This type of high school doesn?t offer a diploma rack; the sole purpose of this type of online high school is to be able to provide students with the learning that may not be able to be taught offline. The other one is Corporate-sponsored, but state-approved schools, this type of school are mixture of charter school and the school district sponsored school they offer classes with the approval of the state department of education.
