But how far is this true? Does a poor person know the world differently than a rich person? An experienced person differently than an ignorant one? An English speaker differently than one who speaks Chinese? A disabled person differently than an able one? A woman differently than a man?
Or is knowledge by and large unsituated? Does our situation in life have little effect on the validity (the truth, usefulness, or goodness) of knowledge claims?
